Mustard is the most popular Bengali restaurant in Singapore. It is one of the prominent restaurant across the popular Race Course road. Prior reservation is highly recommended to get a table at this exclusive restaurant.
Mustard is the only restaurant in Singapore that serves authentic Bengali food that you can die for. The wall hanging, paintings and decorations remind you of Bengal, you can find painting of some of the greatest personality like Rabindranath Tagore and iconic structure like Victoria memorial of Kolkata. Urban Roti is the best north Indian restaurant in Singapore's CBD area that serves very unique food. This restaurant can be found in the famous eatery joint Lau Pa Sat. Either lunch or dinner you need to reserve a table in advance to get a table here as this place gets flooded with corporate crowd.
The ambience is pretty average because of the heavy crowd even though they have a nice bar and pretty nice wooden decor, but the food here brings all the positivity to the restaurant. We are confident that you will end up with multiple visits to the restaurant because of their yummy food.
Food
Every item on their menu is delicious. They serve the best Grilled Stuffed Mushroom in Singapore, so don't miss it. We also recommend trying the - Ur Special Kebab Platter, to get the taste of different type of Chicken, Mutton, Fish and Prawn Kebabs. The Special Kulfi they serve in deserts is a chef special handmade Indian ice cream which is a must try. Their alcohol and cocktails menu is very generic, but is easy on the wallet.

Kailash Parbat operates in 3 locations in Singapore; however, we found this location on Belilios Rd to be the best. Firstly, it is spacious, secondly for some reason the food here tastes the best when compared to the other locations. Even on Google, the rating for this location is higher than the other locations.
They got a lot of soft lighting which makes you feel festive. Kailash Parbat offers comfortable sitting area for small and large groups. The restaurant is filled the aroma of the food being cooked and served because most of the food here are freshly cooked in the kitchen, in fact you can actually view the cooking through the clear glass from the dining area.
Food
Kailash Parbat is the most famous joint for Indian street food. So, if you are in the mood for some Indian street food, this is the best place. Make sure to reserve a table or you can try walk-in, if you are lucky. Among their best street food are Pani Puri, Dahi Wada, Bambaiya Dahi Puri, Samosa Chat. Tiki Chaat, Padi Chat, Bhel Puri and the list goes on. Try them all if you can, off course you need multiple visits to be able to do that.
And do not forget JAMUN E JANNAT from the desserts.
